Three weeks from tomorrow
That is when I finally get to go to the doctor … I think I’m technically meeting with a midwife, which is awesome! I’m just antsy for some confirmation that 1) I am actually pregnant and 2) that the baby is growing and healthy! I think Denny might try to come with me even though it will only be his third day back at the Nature Conservancy, so we’ll see. This morning I felt horrible. I gagged and gagged when I was trying to brush my teeth and I just felt so nauseous. I almost called in to work, but I decided to tough it out, and I’m glad I did! After a rough morning I am feeling fine. So that’s all … I’m five weeks and four days if my calculations are right. It’s exciting … I just want everything to be okay and it all seems to be right now. I’m hoping and praying that continues!

Current worries
I can’t focus. I have zero energy. My back hurts a little, which stresses me out … my ear is bothering me … only a little, but I’m still a little worried … I am the most impatient person in the world … I just want everything to be okay … and everything is so far … but I still can’t relax … I read all these message boards and some of the messages are positive saying cramping is normal, but some say it’s a concern … will my doctor just get back so I can transfer my medical records and get some advice already! She is coming back on Monday, so again I just need to chill out, but that is easier said than done. I’m going home, putting on my slippers, curling up under a blanket on couch, watching TV, and waiting for my dear husband to get home so my mind can focus on something else for a while.

The day our lives changed forever ... or at least until August when this day will seem like nothing!
So when I got home from work yesterday, I decided to take a pregnancy test. Not that I was officially late yet, but I had one and I just decided to take it. Denny was sitting in the recliner watching TV and as I headed for the bathroom, he asked me what I was doing. I told him I was going to take the test. I'm sure he thought I was crazy ... this wasn't the first pregnancy test I'd ever taken! Anyway, I saw the faint, but distinctive line and was in shock. I came out of the bathroom and told Denny we needed to head to Jackson. He asked why and I told him I needed to get another pregnancy test! I took two more tests ... all positive. I'm still in shock and I can't stop smiling!
